Sumi effect and its color

Seen through a electron microscope, you can see infinite small holes on the surface of a sumi.

With the small rough holes such as a beehive, the surface area is wide though it's seemed that apparenty it's small. so, water or air can go through inside the material easily, then when they get inside, it absorb many things with the wide surface area. For instance, it absorb humidity if humidity is high when air go through inside. On the contrary, it emits moisture to air and works as a humidifier when it's dry.

Sumi effect which is very mild to nature and humans is invisible, but when you try to feel sumi effect one by one, you might notice that there are full of sumi effect in nature.
